The Sky of Pawsitive Sensations

Not sure if you guys remember what Sky used to look like. Aunty L called him "Greenie". Yah, he was green...mummy said its not company colours and it doesn't look too friendly so she gave Greenie a make over.

Now he looks like this. He's called SKY now. We showed u him in blue before but now Sky has tatooes!

See? Got wording on what we do at Pawsitive Sensations and with our logo too! The other side has the same tatoos.

Here's Sky's rear end. I like the fact that Mummy put "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." =)

Hmm...lots of space in the back. Nice... Hmm...i feel like someone is staring at me.

Oh! Its you, our logo doggy. =)

Here's my favourite part of Sky! The front has my big smiley face on it! Hee...Hope that Sky looks nice and friendly to everyone. =D

So far the doggies like it inside the van. There's enough space for 2 humans and 1 large dog even! =) And we've also got a nice ramp for dogs with bad legs or bad backs to use to walk up the back. So let's take to the Sky! ;)

The Closing of a Chapter - Pawsitive Sensations

This entry might be a nostalgic one...the shop in Turf Club Road is now officially closed. It was a nice shop that had tons of doggy action (from growling, to feeding...to fighting...to humping...to barking...to sleeping and loads of photo posing too).

For the last few weeks we've been announcing about the closure of the store and the change of the business to a mobile one. Nothing changes on the end of the customers so please if you need more details, you can email or call us with ur queries k? We'll be more than happy to clear up any doubts. Pawsitive Sensations is still operational!

Saturday started out like this: The signs were to be taken down...

Here's the reception area.

And this is the treatment room all bare.

Here's Rover, our very last and final patient's appt at the store. He thinks its really empty too eh?

Well, its empty, so time to go!

And here's a last peek at the store. The signage was taken down and there's just the bare minimum left inside. *sniffles* hee... Now that this chapter is closed...

We need to open a new chapter in the life of Pawsitive Sensations!

And here's our nice van! Its a Fiat Doblo with enough space at the back to comfortably massage one dog. As you can see its just blue and the stickering isn't done yet, but when it is, i'll be there to pose with Sky (that's the name of our van). =D

Oooo...My Barkday! (part 1)

April Fools day came and went. Mummy managed to resist putting up some crazee prank post. She says we must act like adults cos i turned 3 doggy years old! Which is 21 human years. So i'm officially an adult! =P (yeah right...teehee!)

Here I am at Hammer's place, visiting his parents. He was getting a nice massage done.

See...he's shamelessly kissing mummy. Well, i'll forgive him for that since his mummy got me a barkday pressie! See the yellow package in the back? its mine!

But first, i have to try and squeeze Hammer off his new bed. Arrgh, not enough space!

Instead his mummy asked me to pose. So i did. With my pressie! Look! Look!

Eh? OH!!! Mine is yellow!

I like it! It matches my colour. Thanks aunty E!

Last pose: Me on my bed, and Hammer sort of on his...although he's getting distracted and staring at me. =P

Thank you! I'm a big boy now.... =)

Tania the Tenacious

I'd like to introduce everyone to a very vocal and tenacious golden retriever. She's not even 1 year old yet and she already suffers from a rather aweful case of Hip Dysplasia on both hips. I really sympathise with her cos I have a mild case of HD on my left hip.

Tania was very fortunate to have been taken into the arms of a pawsome loving family. Her mummy makes very nice trinklets. You can find it at Trisha's Trove.

Here's Tania's "I'm SO innocent and angelic"face.

This is Tania's more usual happy-go-crazy expression:

Listen to her greeting vocals!

Tania's also obsessed with a few things in the store. One of them is the Bopper (the other is our green doggy bowl):

Hmm...it rolls funny!

I love this video of her!

Until next time folks!

Sadness... A Tribute to Monty

Sadness filled my heart cos I saw Mummy's frown and felt her woes. Her got news that Monty had passed over the rainbow bridge this morning at 2.30am.

We are blessed to have known such a personable dog as Monty ( i call him grandpa). Monty was 11.5 years old. He was a funny character with a stubborn streak. He gave us "looks" and barked commands. He was the grandfather of the bunch and even showed his mettle by growling on saturday at us, a bunch of young-ling corgis who had invaded "his shop".

Dear grandpa Monty, we know that you had a good life and a loving owner. May God bless her and may you and her meet again on the other side. We love you forever! As a small tribute to Monty, we've dog-eared the index page of Pawsitive Sensations until the end of January.

Here are some nice photos of Montgomery Chew as we should remember him. =)

Happy New Year! 2009!

Hi everyone! Today's the 11th day of Christmas and the 4th day of 2009...time sure flies by huh? Mummy and Daddy are getting older and so am I. Hope we age gracefully. =P

Last month ClubPets featured CORGIs!!!! We Rule!

Here's the article. They covered both the Pembroke and Cardigan breeds. We are intelligent and good for families! =)

Here's my handsome face...heh. (yah, ok, so it was the "slipper chewing photo"...but I look smart rite?) Below my photo is a picture of young Rusty. Don't we look alike? (yup, he's also very handsome. haha!)

There's also a picture of Dopey (top) and Ode (bottom). Great smiles!

Left most pic is Dexter with his classic smile. Right most on top row is Barn2 with his "nice" look. (haha! Only sometimes cute...until he sees me or Chloe. =P ) And below Barn's pic is Cookie!

I wasn't the only one featured in articles. Mummy got a picture too, with Snowball! This article came out on Christmas Eve 2008, on The New Paper. It talked about physiotherapy and massage therapy for dogs in Singapore! Pawsitive Sensations was featured and Ella's Daddy's testimonial also came out. =)

Here's the article up close. You can click on the picture to read it.

What an awesome pawsome way to end 2008 huh? Can't wait for whats in store in 2009!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (i wonder if clubpets would've put this picture up instead. hee!)

2008 Year End Pawty!

Saturday was rather different. Mummy decided to arrange the year-end pawty then and she didn't tell me. We wanted to invite the whole world of doggies but cos the shop is kinda small we had to restrict the number of attendants. Bah. I think i'll tell mummy to get a big big stadium next time. =)

Anyway, I will attempt to tell the story of what happened (oh and the photos are going to be bigger than usual too)... here goes:

We woke up super early this morning and went to work. I found Coco behind bars and joined her there.

The store had new signs declaring that a pawty was going to happen...

But before that we had to attend to Monty and Jazze's massage (Monty was ill earlier this week. Thank God that he has since recovered.) Can you see the 3 of them, including Chloe, staring at their human?

Us jail-dogs watching the massage...

New pawty guest! Lucky! Pokey went straight to work and I stayed out of the girls way. Dangerous you know...

Coco's showing Lucky where to hide safely.

Lucky usurps the position while I distracted Coco!

Hey you! No space!

Wait here comes another guest - Hammer! The schnauzer.

Come on over to the dark side Hammer! (Mummy: notice how much taller Benny is. Gee whiz!)

Hammer was wearing the angel costume but once he was in the darkside...

The angel costume came off and he joined us! Bwa hahaha....
Oh, there's another guest that Hammer's checking out - Rusty. You might get the two of us mixed up, but Rusty has a bob tail and he is fluffier.

Meanwhile, Monty has smiling happily and sitting on uncle Eugene's lap.

Back to the dark side - there's Hammer, little Lucky, Rusty staring at Hammer, Coco giving cute face and me (face blocked, but can see tail).

Heyhey! What do you think of my bowtie? =D

Finally, we have Roo, Boo and Paulo. All came together! You can see Boo staring at the daddy and her head is above Paulo's butt.

And here's Roo with Boo standing up to get something. Can you see Paulo's Adidog shirt? Isn't it just pawsomely cool????

Soon Mummy shouted for everyone to file outside for the group photo. Right...this was chaos and near impossible.

I was a good boy (after all daddy was taking the pictures). Roo and Boo chilled out next to me. Don't we look just great together?

Ok, say CHEESE! Almost perfect except for Jazze and Chloe staring off into the distance and Lucky giving us the backside. (Click on the photo to enlarge).

ANd then... a miracle! A great and picture pawfect photo! Yay!!!

Ok, time for a pee break. Everyone spread out!

Sniff sniff... pee pee...

Erm, notice the wet road. Its sloping downwards too so its a kind of a pee-fall. Haha!

Daddy calls this Chloe's alpaca look. Hee... i think its cute.

Paulo's giving a hamburger face with reindeer "horns" while the alpaca is sniffing him and Jazze's all zen-ed out.

Once everyone did what they had to do, we went back in for air-con and the pawty gift packs were distributed. Feeding time!

Uncle James, Rusty's daddy, was so happy and so was I!!!

Here we are all scouring the floor for scraps. *drool*

Look at greedy Lucky's contented face and Roo's tongue-in-nose lick! Yum!

Time for the mandatory butt shot. Let's sniff, from L-R: Boo, Roo, me (tail), Rusty (nice round bob tail), Hammer, Lucky

Oh, and not to forget Rusty trying to dominate Hammer. He tried his best but Hammer was a force to be reckoned with. =P

Another manic look in Rusty's eyes.......

Oh my. Erm, kinda crowded isn't it? Mummy told me this is like going to computer fairs.

Oh, nearing the end of the pawty. I smell food! The humans are eating!

And there are fruits! Can we have some?

Well, that's it for the photos and "report". By the end of the day I was so tired and sleepy but happy and full too. Thank you to everyone for coming and also for the pressies...that's in the next post. =)

Hope ya'll had a blast!
