My 6th Barkday...Singapore Time...

This year I get to celebrate my 6th barkday over 2 timezones! I'm STOKED!

We started off using Singapore time since I spent half of my life there. This meant that 31st March PST, it was already 1st April in Singapore so I got some fun barkday stuff!

Wooo.... are these all mine? Googly eyes...

I'm sure they are ALL mine...Attack!!!

(got scolded) Wha....????? 3 Dogs and a Chick's doggy treats always taste great. I know these are mine. Right? *whimper*

How about these? I think they are CAKE. Barkday CAKES...

*pray* Dear Lord, grant me the patience to wait for my special treats and the serenity to accept that I can't change my humans' minds about hurrying up. Amen.

Mummy insisted on ONE MORE PICTURE with ALL THE TREATS...

I know these are mine. I'm mesmerized.

Soon...you'll be in my tummy...

*HALT!* Mummy took all the goodies away. *WHY??!???!???!*
Cos she decided to give me a new toy, just for this special day, and let me destroy it.

*cue evil laughter* Mwahahahahaha!

I can almost taste it.

Death! Rip!

It doesn't take me long at all. Fluff and guts!!!

Squeakers and squeals!!!!

Heh. Heh. The look of accomplishment.

Absolute satisfaction!

(Poor elephant)

And later that evening, I finally got my paws on my Singapore time Barkday biscuit!

Daddy is happy showing off how much his outfit matches MY biscuit. Hands off!

Ugh...pose...

UGH... pose again?

And then I got to eat it. Whew!

Stay tuned for "My 6th Barkday... California Time..."

Corgi Playdate!

Just a few days ago, Mummy said that she's going to bring me on a playdate with other corgis. She mentioned something about them being puppies...what?!?!?! I'm ancient compared to 7 month old crazy puppies! i'm OLD.... *boohoo*

But that's ok. They turned out to be really cute and quite fun too! I was to be a good role model and to teach them good behaviour and wat not. =P Heh heh!

Well, this is what the two puppies do when I'm not there...

And so I'm here! From left to right: Jemma the "blonde", Nigel the "tri-colored artist" and me, Benny the "red-haired" =P

Mummy's trying to distract us. Not bad huh.

But then the playing ensued!

Jemma likes to flop on her back when she's near me. She pretends to be all docile...and sweet...

And when the moment is right, attack!!!!

Nigel is the official sound-maker.

Then we moved outside for group training. This is our SIT-STAY. We were facing the sun. Hence the squinty moody faces. =P

Then we had to do a DOWN-STAY. The puppies learn pretty fast!

Then it was back inside! The puppies were relentless I tell you. No peace for me!

Jemma: Play! Play!
Nigel: Bark Bark!!!
Me: Can we stop soon? I need a breather!

Double team!

Here you see me really trying to communicate to both Mummy and the puppies that I wanna sleep... See my pleading eyes???

And here, they finally got it! Yes! Peace and quiet...snoozing...a break...excuse me...zzzzzzz.....

And the miracle of nap time!

I had a blast! And i think Jemma and Nigel did too. =) I hope to meet them again soon!

Tug-O-War with Daddy!

It all started with this teeny weensy piece of fabric. Know where it's from? It's actually part of the moose toy I've been playing with! That's an antler i think...i kinda tore it off.

Daddy was shocked at how the moose is now one antler less. But Daddy...we can still play. Really!

Mummy, will you play tug-o-war with me?

Mummy ain't doing that great of a job with one hand on the camera!

Tug tug...

Daddy! Let's show her how it should be done! I know you have "death" grip powers!

Daddy actually gave up saying something about painful fingers. So we tried a different toy!

This was once a stretchable piggy...no more piggy head though. That got torn off too.

Hey can you spy the wee piece of red cloth/moose antler in the back? hee... tug tug...

Come on! Pull harder! I can win!

Full-body extension...paws all wide and low to the ground!

Ears forward too! Best way to hear the "ripping" sound...heh!

Nuts...on rare occasions I do lose my grip. *pant pant*

Here Daddy is trying to entice me into playing with the big stripey bone...

I go for it! Wonky eyeballs won't stop me!

Nonetheless, this stretchy toy is still best for tug-o-war! See my pawfected tugging stance?

View from the other end...

Well, tah! Until next blog entry! Happy feb! *tail wave*

Happy New Year at the Grand Canyon! 2012!

Wow...it is already 2012! Well, let me share with you about how we celebrated the New Year. It all started with a loooooong drive to Arizona.

(Pictures are big so feel free to click on them to see the whole thing)

When we arrived at this huge place, I was told it was called the GRAND CANYON. I bet it was grand! Daddy started taking plenty of photos...

Mummy tried to do her own panoramas...

And I remained supportive. =)

The air here was so fresh and clean.

Teehee! Quick posed shot with my chinese daddy. I tried to look chinese too! ;)

Back on the pathway again!

Mummy decided then that I should learn to be more adventurous. *!*

*staring at the vastness of the Grand Canyon*

Seriously...this is kinda overwhelming for a small and short corgi you know?

Taking another break along the Rim.

Here's Daddy with his camera again!

Whew! Climbing these steps are no joke!

Will you carry me? =D

Of course we started driving around. The whole place is HUGE you know! The winter chill meant that ice and snow were present!

Panorama time!

Mummy even stopped the car for these 3 deer! They were standing patiently at the roadside waiting their turn to cross. Once the car stopped, they calmly crossed the road. Talk about smart!

Loooby doooby dooo....

Found a monument! Pose!

This is high...and dangerous! Eep! Don't look down!

This is even worse! Daddy carried me the whole way.

I didn't dare move! *gulp*

Panorama of the above!

Whew....that done...i found me a triangulation marker!

And my nose started getting distracted by....

The crow! *stalk*

Couldn't catch it. Back to posing with daddy!

This is me...Adventure Dog! Living on the edge! (yeah right)

Oops...sun is setting...

Quick! Film it! Film it!

Pretty eh? And it got COLD...

Quick! Family photo with the ... Vampire Adventure Doggy!

Hee...well, we actually drove back into the grand canyon just before midnight too! The number of stars in the sky were too many to count! Praises to the Lord for His creations!

Back the next morning...i haaaaad to pee.

And this is it! First pee of the New Year! =D
