Aunty Evelyn came specially to visit ME!!!

I got a visitor! Aunty Evelyn, Hammer's mommy, flew in just to visit me!!! I'm such a lucky corgi! ;)

First thing she did after hugging me was to show me a brand new toy! My mommy said that it was going to die and Aunty Evelyn let me go ahead and have fun by destroying it!

Let me teach you how to dissect a rope duck. First you start by tearing a nice gaping hole at one of it's armpits like so:



Then use one paw to firmly hold it in position while surgically disemboweling it.

If you get tired, con a human to hold one end for you and start playing tug-o-war!

Never forget to occasionally check to see if more fluff can be removed.

 



Then resume tug-o-war!!!



What's that you say? I am allowed to BEHEAD it???? Can you see the crazy sparkle in my eye?

ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

GAH!!!!!!!!!! Show no mercy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hee hee...!!! Success is such sweet savour!

She is home!

I am happy!!! I got to fetch mommy back from the airport! I was so stunned to see her in the flesh. ;D woohoo!!!

I got lots of hugs and kisses. And I got Furminated! I had that coming cos shed all over her lap the entire drive home. Hee.



She Furminated me on wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The photo shows how much fur is removed in one fell swoop. Multiply that by 3! I should be bald. Mommy should make a corgi fur coat.



And then she just HAD to dremmel my nails. Why? Ugh. I wanna die. :( luckily it seems like mommy and daddy have improved their skills and the session of nail dremmeling went by pretty fast.



Now my parents want to me take a self portrait with them... After all that torture????

Well I hear that something fun is going to happen for me soon! Can't wait!

My silence

I'm not speaking again cos I'm upset at Mummy. She is away. Again. =((

Well, this is what I had to see a couple of weeks ago. She was packing...again... I decided to sulk.

Well, she's getting her corgi happiness from other corgis back in Singapore. I have gotten over her being missing for a while. Daddy has been great to me. *yay!*

In the meantime, here's a picture of a corgi crossed with a Jap Spitz! How cute is that right???

My 6th Barkday...California Time...

Woohoo! My fav day of the year arrived in California... =) This year we went out! Mummy packed ALL the treats into a bag and off we went to a park in Saratoga.

Nigel and Jemma were there all ready to go on a park playdate!

Dory's there too! She and i have an understanding about greetings.

And Daisy's there too! Yippie! More fun!

We did the usual...sniffing...

Saying hi to other dogs in the area...

Mummy got in on the "saying hi to other dogs in the area" too.

These dudes are all so...TALL...

Playdates are fun as long as you remember the number one rule: Food is king.

At the end of the walk around the park the humans tried to get us to do a group photo.

Daisy thought it was a let's-roll-around-in-the-grass moment...

Then I thought'd i'd give it a try and got up...

When we started sitting pretty, Nigel had plonked himself smack in front of me...

And Jemma obviously thought it was a butt group photo...

Dory (dog on the extreme right) was the best for most part until she decided to have a rebel moment at the one time the rest of us looked at the camera...

More havoc ensues with us dogs facing the wrong way...

Wait for it...it is almost perfect...

And this is it! Our best pic. ;) Oh boy...we really aren't the best models.

Whew, now that's done we can yawn, make faces and ask for the CAKE!

I got pressies from every one. Thanks very much! There's the Charlie Bear treats (love em!) and antlers (more on that in the next blog entry). And there's the singing birthday cake toy.

It kept on singing...and singing...

More plush toys with funny sounds. I wanted to destroy them on the spot!

Mummy had to prevent me from doing that though...look at all the witnesses in the background!!!

Thanks to Auntie Nancy (Nigel and Jemma) and Auntie Diane (Dory and Daisy) for all the fun, treats and gifts! It made my barkday blessed and pawsome!
